Ongoing negotiations for a trade agreement
The United Kingdom will leave the European Union. That’s set in stone. However, it’s not yet clear in what manner the UK leaves the EU. Negotiations on the future (trade) relationship between the two areas are in full swing. The consequences of Brexit depend on whether a Brexit deal on the terms of Britain’s withdrawal will be in place before the deadline passes. In the no-deal scenario Britain leaves the EU without an agreement on important (trade) conditions. Whatever the outcome of the negotiations between the two parties, it is certain that doing business with the UK is changing. If Britain leaves the EU without a deal, it could receive a third-country status – like almost any other country outside the EU. This will mean that customs declarations become part of importing from and exporting goods to the United Kingdom. If you’re unfamiliar with customs procedures, doing business with third-country economies or uncertain about the Brexit consequences, it’s good to know that you can rely on the knowledge and services of TRADEBLOX.
